Location can't be beat with stunning harbor views. the TV aerial was broken during my stay.

Room offered a pleasant side sea view, adding character to the stay. The bed looked appealing and gave a comfy feel necessary after full days of exploring.

The TV aerial plug was broken, limiting access to channels and making it a hassle to get even basic BBC stations. tall folks might find the coombed ceilings a tad challenging. Wifi was disappointingly slow, which can drag down your online plans. No one reached out before arrival about arrival times, leaving some expectations unclarified, though dinner options were easy to find nearby.

The breakfast was simply delightful, especially the salmon and scrambled eggs—what a combo! We also loved the spacious and clean room, with a killer sea view that made our stay feel special.

While the TV aerial was a bit dodgy and the ceilings a tad low for us tall folks, it didn’t put a dampener on our overall experience. Just make sure to duck as you enjoy the lovely surroundings!

The sea view from the room was a standout feature, providing a lovely backdrop for the stay. It’s also a convenient spot for exploring nearby attractions like Aros Park and the Tobermory Distillery Visitor Centre.

The ground floor room felt overly public, with children playing nearby and noisy showers in the adjacent room disrupting the peace. In terms of practicality, the ensuite was poorly designed without sufficient shelf space, and the TV didn’t work properly, which was frustrating. Plus, charging an additional £60 cash for an extra child while paying by card would have cost significantly more was a bit off-putting.

i had an amazing stay at carnaburg guesthouse! the location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and the stunning harbor. breakfast was delicious and accommodating to our early schedule.

The hosts were incredibly kind. after I returned drenched from a terrible boat trip, they were quick to warm my clothes by the fire. The breakfast was not only tasty, but it also showcased local flavors that made each morning feel special.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it’s acceptable.

Breakfast featured a fantastic selection, showcasing delightful local dishes. the shared bathroom situation was concerning, as it felt less private than expected, and the decor could use an update to match the 5-star claims outside. Nonetheless, the late check-in was smooth, highlighting the accommodating nature of the staff.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay, our room was spacious and clean, and the breakfasts were delicious, though adding some veggies would elevate the classic scrambled eggs and salmon! I'd definitely return!
